Buzzard's Bay Slaps 2-0 Loss on Lumberjacks
Adirondack wasted an exceptional performance by pitcher Zach Mitchell, falling to the Buzzard's Bay Beetlecats, 2-0. Mitchell threw 8.1 innings of 4-hit ball for the losing team. The win belonged to Robby Medlin in relief. His record improves to 4-8. Zach Mitchell took the loss for Adirondack. Daniel Castro earned the save for Buzzard's Bay, his 5th.

Mike Noel came through with a big-time hit for Buzzard's Bay. The catcher smacked a 2-run home run in the top of the seventh inning to give his team the lead, 2-0. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.

"Runs were at a premium," said Buzzard's Bay manager Dorian Payne.

Buzzard's Bay is now 51-41. Adirondack is 46-46.
