The Roaring River Steelheads topped the Kelowna Rockets, 11-5, in RCL AA action at Joey Naples Memorial Colloseum. The game was highlighted by the performance of Roaring River right fielder Larry Neal. The winning pitcher was top prospect Evan Gerber. He tossed 160 pitches over 8.2 innings, allowing 5 runs on 11 hits. The Steelheads improved to 50-58.

Gavin Snyder went 1 for 4 with a walk, while adding 2 RBI for Roaring River. The 21-year old shortstop had a key at-bat in the top of the fifth. With two out and the bases loaded, he broke a 5-5 tie with a run-scoring walk off Javier Rios. It was his 52nd walk of the season.

"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling confident after that win," said Snyder.
