The Roaring River Steelheads withstood a fine game by Windsor third baseman Moises Mogrovejo at Casino Grounds, to upend the Royals, 4-3. Mogrovejo was 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. The winning pitcher was Davian Viteka. His record now stands at 5-5. The right-hander went 5.2 innings, allowing 2 runs on 5 hits for the Steelheads. Justin Bissey recorded the save, his 9th.

Gavin Snyder had a big run-scoring double for the Steelheads in the bottom of the sixth inning. With Roaring River leading 3-2 and a runner on 1st, he got a sinker from 26-year old right-handed pitcher Diego del Moral and swatted a double to right-center. It was his 9th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Steelheads ahead, 4-2.

"We put together a nice win," Snyder said.

Roaring River is now 51-58, while Windsor is 71-39.
