The Adirondack Lumberjacks got a strong performance from pitcher Zach McDermott, who stymied the Kelowna offense en route to a win, 6-0, at Paul Bunyan Field. The win elevated the Lumberjacks to 48-48.

McDermott made it look easy. He scattered 3 hits over 7.1 innings, while racking up 8 strikeouts. The right-hander upped his season record to 6-5.

"If you beat me, you beat me, if not, good things will happen," said McDermott.
