Sipes Shackles Murraysville in 2-1 Beetlecats Win
The Buzzard's Bay Beetlecats earned a close win over the Murraysville Peacocks, thanks in part to Chris Sipes. The Buzzard's Bay right-hander, who is tied for 8th in the RAA in innings pitched with 137.2, played a key role in the 2-1 victory. Matt Williams earned the save for Buzzard's Bay, his 12th of the year. The Beetlecats raised their record to 51-62.

Buzzard's Bay starter Chris Sipes was exceptional. The 6-foot-2 right-hander allowed no runs on 3 hits over 8 innings of work.

"Chris had good arm action, good stuff," said Buzzard's Bay manager Dorian Payne.
