Getting an impressive start from Javier Rios, Kelowna beat Windsor by the score of 3-1. The 5th-place Rockets bumped their record to 49-64.

John Downey had a direct impact on the outcome. Downey contributed a run-scoring walk in the top of the fifth inning to put Kelowna up, 3-1.

"It's nice to get the results when you're feeling good and throwing the ball well," said Rios after the game.
