The Clearwater Seagulls clobbered the Spokane Bulldogs, 13-2, at Chapman Field. Clearwater designated hitter Zach Johnson led the onslaught. He was 3 for 4 with 2 home runs and was hit by a pitch, while adding 5 RBI and scoring twice. Clearwater is 52-51 and Spokane, with the loss, 36-67.

With Clearwater leading 3-2 in the bottom of the sixth, Johnson hit a changeup from Justin Frisbie for a 3-run home run. It was his 23rd home run of the season and put the Seagulls ahead, 6-2.

"It's always extra special to win at home," said Johnson.
