Niagara Falls catcher Josh Spring picked up 4 ribbies while helping his team beat back the Wauwatosa Indians, 5-4. Picking up the save was fireballing left-hander Steve Hoefling. Niagara Falls is now 59-42.

Niagara Falls took a 5-2 lead on Spring's 6th home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which he hit off Norm Henderson in the top of the sixth, propelled Niagara Falls to the win.

"Being able to play a game for a living is one thing. Being able to play it well and contribute to a win is even better," Spring told the Niagara Falls Daily News.
