Left Fielder Johnson goes 3-for-4, Steals Spotlight in Clearwater Rout
The Clearwater Seagulls beat the Carson City Mustang by a score of 12-3. Clearwater first baseman Zach Johnson deserved the lion's share of the credit. Johnson was 3-4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 4 for the Seagulls. Clearwater, at 81-48, is 4 games up in the TML AA Jim Leyland Division.

With Clearwater leading 2-1 in the bottom of the third, Johnson hit a fastball from Jon Adams for a grand slam home run. It was his 29th home run of the season and put the Seagulls ahead, 6-1.
