The Marysville Monarchs electrified the home crowd with a walk-off win.

Led by Matt Pitts, the Marysville Monarchs defeated the Wauwatosa Indians, 9-8, in 13 innings. Pitts, a native of Clarkston, Washington, went 7-7 with a home run, 2 doubles, and 4 singles, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for the Monarchs. The win was credited to Don Colvin in relief. His record improves to 2-0. John Plouffe took the loss.

The Monarchs got a clutch hit from catcher Oliver King. In the bottom of the 13th, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Monarchs.

"We battled our tails off to get this win," said Marysville manager Michael Fitzgerald.
