Indians 6-4 Victors Over DeKalb
Wauwatosa right-hander Luis Velez pitched his team to victory over the DeKalb Cornhuskers at Albert Park. The final score was 6-4. Velez, now 7-1, was the winner. In 7 innings, he gave up 9 hits, while striking out 9, walking 2, and allowing 3 runs. The Indians, at 69-61, sit in 4th place in the TML AA Bruce Bochy Division.

Ed Cavanaugh had a big bases-clearing double for the Indians in the bottom of the second inning. With Wauwatosa leading 1-0 and the bases loaded, he got a fastball from 22-year old right-handed pitcher Luis Perea and swatted a double to right. It was his 17th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Indians ahead, 4-0.

"I went after the hitters," said Velez. "No pussyfooting around."
