Shamrocks Wrest Win from Indians, 5-4
|
The Pacifica Shamrocks found a way to sneak past the Wauwatosa Indians, 5-4, in 18 innings. Pacifica designated hitter Felipe Castillo, for one, had a standout performance. The Shamrocks move to 24-89 with the win.
The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the 18th. With one out, Castillo hit a fastball from Tim Garthwaite for a run-scoring double. The Shamrocks, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.
"We were able to put some good swings on some pitches," Castillo told the Pacifica Today.
