The Carson City Mustang beat the Niagara Falls Pipe Fitters, 8-4, at Cowboys Stadium. The Mustang got a fine performance from left fielder Dwayne Stuart, who belted 3 home runs, while adding 6 RBI and scoring three times. The third-place Mustang sport a record of 80-57.

In the bottom of the fifth, Carson City designated hitter Fernando Antigua had a productive at-bat. With the bases loaded and one out, Antigua stroked a run-scoring single to left. It made the score 6-4, Carson City. For the game, he went 1 for 4.
