Bishops Win 4-3 Nail-Biter Versus Seagulls
The Clearwater Seagulls could not turn a fine performance from pitcher Dave Perez into a win. Instead, the Evanston Bishops prevailed, 4-3, in 10 innings. Perez threw 8.0 innings of 7-hit ball. Evanston reliever Travis Wilson picked up the win, raising his record to 3-2. Scott Perciavalle was tagged with the loss. Evanston is now 79-56. Clearwater is 83-52.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the tenth inning, when Evanston right fielder Kyle Bullock, facing Scott Perciavalle, had a run-scoring walk. It gave the Bishops the 4-3 win.

"Always feels extra good winning this kind of game," said Bullock.
