Evanston Shuts Out Clearwater Behind Alegro, 3-0
Symão Alegro hurled nothing but zeros at the Clearwater Seagulls in an impressive outing at FUBU Field. The Evanston pitcher allowed 5 hits, fanned 6, and walked 3 in blanking Clearwater, 3-0.

"There were a lot of frustrated guys walking back to the dugout," Clearwater manager Ayub Ndadaye said. "Not a fun day."

So far this year, Alegro has made 35 starts, tossed 221.2 innings, struck out 182 batters and walked 101. His record is 12-11 with a 4.67 ERA and he has limited opposing teams to a .267 batting average.
