The home crowd had a good time watching the Murraysville Peacocks and Louisiana Crocodiles get after it.

The Louisiana Crocodiles used the hitting of left fielder Jose Monge to subdue the Murraysville Peacocks, 6-2. For the game, Monge was 1-2 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 4. Felipe Merlo earned his 2nd save in 3 chances.

Louisiana designated hitter Aaron Elting contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the fifth. With two down, he hit a fastball to right field for a 2-run single. It was his 1st hit of the season and put the Crocodiles ahead, 5-2.

"Good baseball players make you a smarter manager," said Louisiana manager Peter McColgan.

With the win, Louisiana raised its record to 66-53.
