Peacocks Handed 3-1 Loss by Roaring River
|
In a low-scoring game between Roaring River and Murraysville, pitcher Davian Viteka was excellent. The Roaring River right-hander helped his team knock off the Peacocks, 3-1. The 4th-place Steelheads improved to 63-75.
Had Gavin Snyder not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the seventh, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 1st and 2nd, Snyder hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 2-1, in favor of the Steelheads.
"Davian was commanding his pitches," said Roaring River manager Mike Bouffard.
