The Niagara Falls Pipe Fitters beat the Madison Beehive, 17-5, at The Hive. Niagara Falls third baseman Jeffrey Hicks had an outstanding performance. He was 1-2 with a double and 3 walks, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3. With the victory, the Pipe Fitters upped their record to 71-46.

Matt DeCanio had a big bases-clearing double for the Pipe Fitters in the top of the first inning. With Niagara Falls leading 2-0 and the bases loaded, he got a changeup from 25-year old right-handed pitcher Daniel Dantzler and swatted a double to left-center. It was his 14th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Pipe Fitters ahead, 5-0.

"You start putting runs on the board and winning, everyone's going to get excited," said Hicks.
