Bishops Earn Late Win
The Bishops grabbed a win, 6-5, at FUBU Field, overcoming a fine effort from Niagara Falls pitcher Jim Wallace. Wallace went 8 innings and allowed 4 runs. The win hiked the Evanston record to 77-47.

Ernie Byrd was the walk-off hero for Evanston. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Bishops pinch hitter hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"This team has the heart of a lion," said Bishops manager Demetrio Recchia.
