Fraser Valley Beats Madison, 8-3
The Fraser Valley Black Bears trumped the Madison Beehive, 8-3, at The Hive. Fraser Valley third baseman Ryan Wairimu was terrific. He was 2-4 with a home run and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Jonathan Emory got the win, improving to 16-7. He worked 7 innings, giving up 2 runs on 7 hits, while striking out 2 and walking 4. Fraser Valley's record now stands at 94-52, placing them second in the TML AA Bruce Bochy Division.

Fraser Valley used a clutch at-bat from Bobby Magallanes to capture the win. The right fielder hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the third inning to put the Black Bears ahead, 3-1. It was his lone hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.

Wairimu attributed the win to his team's "focus and intensity."
