Bill Garrick was instrumental in his team's 4-3 triumph over the Kelowna Rockets. The center fielder went 4 for 5 with a home run, 3 singles, and a walk. He scored 2 runs for the Carson City Mustang. The winner was Matt Nicholas in relief. His record improves to 1-2. Alpha Kennison took the loss. Carson City is now 65-62, Kelowna 64-63.

Garrick dealt the big blow in the bottom of the tenth. That's when he launched a solo home run off Kelowna pitcher Alpha Kennison to win it for the Mustang.
