Verbeek Leads Mountaineers to Win
The Black Mountain Mountaineers handed the Spokane Bulldogs a loss at Peak Park. The final score was 12-6. Tom Verbeek made the highlight reel for Black Mountain. In addition to his 1 single and 1 home run, he scored 3 runs and drove in 4. He also added 3 bases on balls. Jesse Gillespie picked up the win in relief. His record improves to 1-0. John Felder suffered the loss. With the win, Black Mountain raised its record to 74-54.
