Wichita Wolverines starter Andy Duff pitched well against the Carson City Mustang at Cowboys Stadium, leading his team to a win, 5-4. The Wolverines sport a record of 53-95.

Wichita used the timely hitting of Kyle Goodwin to seize the win. The center fielder stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the eighth inning to put the Wolverines on top, 5-3. It was his only hit in 2 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"We played hard and won," said Duff. "Sometimes, baseball really is that easy.'
