Beehive Earn Win with Late Rally
The Madison Beehive beat the Evanston Bishops in a game featuring much hitting but not much pitching. The final score was 10-9, Beehive. One of the hitting stars was second baseman Andy Childers. Childers was 3-4 with a home run and a double. He drove in 5 runs and scored once. Reliever Gui-fan Fou picked up the win. His record improves to 6-3. Calvin Hayward, who is tied for 7th in the TAA in holds with 6, took the loss. With the victory, the Beehive record stands at 57-93.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the ninth inning, when Madison right fielder Ryan Cristofano, facing Calvin Hayward, had a run-scoring walk. It gave the Beehive the 10-9 win.

"Winning in the last at-bat, there's nothing else like it," said Childers.
