The Roaring River Steelheads defeated the Kelowna Rockets, 5-2. Second Baseman Ray Lagunas deserved a large share of the credit. Lagunas was 1-2 with a home run and 2 walks, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for the Steelheads. Steve Pisarek, the winner, goes to 7-15. He allowed 1 run on 4 hits, with 3 walks and 2 strikeouts over 5 innings. The losses continue to mount for Kelowna, which has now dropped 8 in a row.

With Roaring River leading 3-1 in the bottom of the third, Lagunas hit a forkball from Javier Rios for a 2-run home run. It was his 5th home run of the season and put the Steelheads ahead, 5-1.
