Black Mountain Mountaineers starter Bill Miller was in a rhythm all game. He led his team to a win over the Louisiana Crocodiles, 9-2. Black Mountain, now 76-56, holds down second place in the RCL AA Gene Mauch Division.

Black Mountain got a big at-bat from Gilmore, Ohio native Dave Morgan, who in the bottom of the fourth hit a 3-run home run. It was his 1st home run of the season and put the Mountaineers ahead, 8-1.

"We didn't help ourselves, it's as simple as that," said losing manager Peter McColgan.
