The Beaumont Drillers electrified the crowd with a walk-off win.

In a low-scoring tilt between the Beaumont Drillers and the Boise Hawks, 27-year old right-handed pitcher Earl Hickman was the difference-maker. The Beaumont right-hander spearheaded the 2-1 win. The last-place Drillers have a record of 56-78.

The defining moment came in the bottom of the ninth for Beaumont. That's when Preston Ledoux hit a run-scoring double off 25-year old right-handed pitcher Raul Guerrero to win the game. The home crowd went wild.

"We faced good pitching and still got it done," said Ledoux.
