The Boston Whitecaps topped the Beaumont Drillers, 6-4, with third baseman Mwai Chipende playing a big role. Chipende went 3-4 with 2 doubles and a walk, while scoring 2 times for the Whitecaps in the win. Chris Sarne closed the door for Boston, picking up his 35th save of the year.
