The Marysville Monarchs topped the Rock River Rats, 5-2, at Mitts Fieldhouse. Marysville left fielder Sam Young was a spark plug for the offense. He went 3-4 with a double and 2 singles, while scoring 2 times. Carlos Rivera snagged the win in relief. He goes to 4-5 on the season. Brett Bunn suffered the loss. Earning the save was Mark Huffer.
