The Moose Jaw Canucks and Roaring River Steelheads played an exciting game.

The Moose Jaw Canucks picked up a win at Casino Grounds, dropping the Roaring River Steelheads, 4-2. Andy Kellar was the difference-maker. The winner was Kellar. He threw 7.0 innings allowing 1 run. The loser was David Ruano. Justin Schroeder earned the save for Moose Jaw, his 17th.

In the bottom of the ninth, Jeff Martin stood in the box, looking for a pitch to hammer. The Steelheads were trailing 4-2, but had runners on 2nd and 3rd. That's when Justin Schroeder made a terrific pitch and Martin grounded out. Gone was the dream of a Roaring River comeback.
