Arroyos gets 5 RBI, Supercharges Marlins Offense
Though the conditions were not ideal, the Media Luna Marlins and Mojave Rattlers came back from a rain delay to finish their game.

Behind the hitting of Alex Arroyos, the Media Luna Marlins defeated the Mojave Rattlers, 14-5. Arroyos was 2-4 with a home run. He scored 2 times and drove in 5 for the Marlins. Reliever Jesus Ruiz picked up the win. His record improves to 1-0. Victor Rodriguez took the loss. Bobby Maldonado closed the door for Media Luna, picking up his 1st save of the year.

With Media Luna leading 10-5 in the top of the seventh, Arroyos came up to bat against Mojave pitcher Nelson Armas. Arroyos hit a fastball to center for a grand slam home run. His 1st home run of the season put the Marlins on top, 14-5.

"It's nice to deliver when your team's counting on you," said Arroyos.
