Austin Leads Sooners to 8-6 Win Over Volunteers
The Oklahoma Sooners downed the Tennessee Volunteers, 8-6, at Madera College Grounds. Ronnie Austin led the way, going 3-for-3 for Oklahoma. Oklahoma pitcher Tim Moss got the win. He's now 1-0. Jimmy Egbert was tagged with the loss. With the loss, Tennessee drops to 1-3.

Oklahoma used the timely hitting of Andy Dunn to seize the win. The left fielder stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the eighth inning to put the Sooners on top, 7-6. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"Win or lose, we pick each other up in this clubhouse," Austin told the Oklahoma Times.
