Sanchez drives in 5 runs to Light Sentries Fuse
The game was a shootout. To win it, the Springfield Sentries had to outpace the Mojave Rattlers. The final score was 12-9, Sentries. Neither team lacked hitting stars. For Springfield, shortstop Jose Sanchez was the foremost. He was 2-2 with a home run and a walk, while adding 5 RBI and scoring once. Sanchez contributed a big hit, a grand slam home run, for Springfield in the top of the ninth. With his team trailing 9-8, Sanchez took a fastball from Ricky Ortega and stroked the home run to right-center. His 1st home run of the season allowed the Sentries to leap in front, 12-9.

"I just tried to put the barrel on it," said Sanchez.
