Orozco, Bloomington Prevail in Pitchers' Duel
|
The Bloomington Hoosiers picked up a win at Hoosiers Stadium, downing the River Falls Falcons, 2-1. On the mound for Bloomington was right-hander Omar Orozco, who played a pivotal role in the win. Omar Trujillo earned the save for Bloomington, his 5th. The win lifts Bloomington to a record of 7-4.
Orozco tossed 120 pitches over 6.2 innings to clinch the win for the Hoosiers. The right-hander allowed just 4 hits, while racking up 12 strikeouts in the game.
"We squandered some opportunities," said River Falls manager Ryan Cunningham.
