The Aiken Thoroughbreds scored a convincing win at Aiken Stadium, defeating the Mojave Rattlers, 14-0. One of the hitting stars was Leon Lobato, who is tied for 7th in the TLA in runs scored with 18, who was 3 for 5 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 4 runs and drove in 3. Carlos Loera picked up the win, improving his season record to 3-0. He struck out 12 in 7.1 innings. At 11-1, the 2064 Thoroughbreds have been nearly flawless so far.
Jose Solis helped his team take an early lead with a run-scoring single. It came in the first inning, making the score 1-0, Thoroughbreds.
