Navarro slugs 2 home runs as Marlins Squeeze Past Cuautitlan Izcalli

No one was more impactful than Vincent Navarro in the 7-6 Media Luna win over Cuautitlan Izcalli. Navarro, who is tied for 4th in the TLA in triples with 1, hit 2 home runs, while scoring 3 and driving in 3. James Dennis got credit for the win, improving to 1-0. He allowed 1 run on 2 hits in 2.2 innings. With the win, Media Luna boosts its record to 5-8.
Navarro had a game-changing home run in the top of the ninth. On a 1-2 fastball from Edwin Palacios, he banged a 2-run home run to left, giving the Marlins a 7-6 lead. It was the 7th home run of the year for Navarro.
