Streaking Blue Jays Win Another One, 6-5
|
In a tight contest at Falcons Field, the Toronto Blue Jays edged the River Falls Falcons by the score of 6-5. Toronto right fielder Adam Rummer, who blasted 1 home run, was a key contributor. Toronto pitcher Mario Castellanos got the win. He's now 4-0. Alejandro Munoz was tagged with the loss. The Blue Jays, now 16-0, have stormed out of the gates.
Toronto grabbed the momentum in the top of the fifth, when Rummer hit a 3-run home run off Alejandro Munoz. His 7th home run of the season put the Blue Jays out in front, 4-1.
"We're playing like a well-oiled machine right now," said Blue Jays manager Bryan Fulcher.
