The Media Luna Marlins and Springfield Sentries completed their game despite the rain.

The 4-1 Media Luna win over Springfield was due in large part to Fabrício Alfes. The Marlins shortstop slugged 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice. The Sentries, now 5-10 this season, have struggled to play .500 ball.

Early in the game, Alfes had a 2-run home run for Media Luna. It was his 4th home run of the season and put the Marlins on top, 2-0.

"Whenever you can come through for your ball club, it's a great thing," said Alfes.
