Alpines Keep Streak Alive with Late Rally
Saint John catcher Bobby Solano made his presence felt in the 7-5 Alpines triumph over the Royal Oak Leprechauns. Solano was 4 for 4 with a double, 3 singles, and a walk. Saint John, now 18-2, is playing great baseball to start the year.

Saint John took a 6-5 lead on Nobuhiko Yamamoto's 6th double of the season. The run-scoring double, which Yamamoto hit in the top of the ninth, left Royal Oak pitcher Rob Alexander visibly frustrated.

"It all comes down to execution," said Saint John manager Clarence Byrd. "Baseball 101."
