German Silva put on a hitting clinic as the Toronto Blue Jays dumped the Media Luna Marlins, 14-5, at LoanDepot Park.

The Toronto center fielder made Media Luna defenders earn their pay, lashing Media Luna pitching for 5 hits in 6 at-bats in the game. He told BNN reporters after the game that his strategy was "just hit it where they pitched it."

"Too often I try too hard to pull the ball," Silva said in his postgame press conference. "Today, I just went with the pitch."
