In a high-scoring contest between Saint John and Royal Oak, left fielder Arturo Bolivar was a difference-maker. Bolivar, who is tied for 7th in the RLA in home runs with 6, distinguished himself in the 11-8 Saint John win. He slugged 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice. Danny Serna closed out the game, earning his 8th save. The loss drops Royal Oak to 8-13.

With Saint John leading 6-4 in the top of the fifth, Bolivar hit a run-scoring single off Royal Oak hurler Angel Beltran. It was the 28th hit of the season for Bolivar and put his team ahead, 7-4.
