Santiago, Pipers Too Much for Falcons
The San Carlos Pipers knocked off the River Falls Falcons by the score of 8-2. Alex Santiago provided some pop, going 4-for-5 with 1 home run. With the loss, River Falls is 11-12.

Ruben Ayala had a big run-scoring double for the Pipers in the bottom of the third inning. With San Carlos leading 1-0 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a sinker from Edwin Barragan and swatted a double to right. It was his 6th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Pipers ahead, 2-0.

Ayala attributed the win to "energy and focus on the part of everyone."
