The first-place Toronto Blue Jays played host to the Mojave Rattlers.

The Toronto Blue Jays downed the Mojave Rattlers, 19-1, the largest share of the credit belonging to shortstop Kyle Huff. On the day, Huff went 3 for 4 with a home run, 2 doubles, and a walk, while scoring 3 and driving in 7 for the Blue Jays. Toronto reliever Mario Castellanos picked up the win. Nelson Armas took the loss for Mojave.

With Toronto leading 15-1 in the bottom of the seventh, Huff came up to bat against Mojave pitcher Jose Alegria. Huff hit a fastball to right-center for a 3-run home run. His 1st home run of the season put the Blue Jays on top, 18-1.

"This team is doing whatever it takes to win," said Blue Jays manager Bryan Fulcher.

The Blue Jays, now 27-1, have stormed out of the gates.
