Rummer, Blue Jays Serve Up 20-7 Win
Adam Rummer was a vital contributor to the 20-7 Toronto victory over Ft. Worth. The Blue Jays left fielder was 2 for 3 with a home run and 3 walks. He scored 3 runs and drove in 3. The winner was Mario Castellanos in relief. His record improves to 6-0. Sal Leyva took the loss. Jeff Ferguson earned the save for Toronto, his 3rd of the year.

Brian Ruddock took Ft. Worth hurler Sal Leyva deep in the bottom of the first. His grand slam home run put the Blue Jays on top, 4-0. In all, Ruddock had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 4.

"Whatever it takes to win," said Ruddock. "That's our attitude."

Toronto, with the win, is a remarkable 31-1.
