Wooten Helps Blue Jays Run Win Streak to 16
Another day, another victory for the red-hot Toronto Blue Jays.

The Toronto Blue Jays handed the Springfield Sentries a loss at Sentries Park. The final score was 6-3. Dan Wooten was one of the major contributors for Toronto. In addition to his 2 singles and 1 home run, he scored 3 runs and drove in 2. Toronto has won 16 straight games.

An inflection point occurred with two out in the top of the eighth. That's when Blue Jays third baseman Chris Whitt hit a sinker from Robert Brown for a 2-run single. Just like that, Toronto was up, 4-3.

"We're in a little funk right now and we've just got to get ourselves out of it," said Springfield manager Jerry Day.
