The Ohio State Buckeyes turned back the Indiana State Sycamores, 5-4, at Ballpark of Bloomfield College. Rodolfo Ollervides, in particular, had a fine performance. He went 2-4 with 2 home runs and a walk, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. Ohio State pitcher Jesse Wagoner earned the win, hiking his record to 1-0. Christian Nichols suffered the loss. Ohio State is now 10-7, while Indiana State is 7-10.

The game was decided with one out in the bottom of the ninth. With Ohio State trailing 4-2, Ollervides jumped on a fastball from 20-year old right-handed pitcher Christian Nichols and hit a 3-run home run to right-center. With one swing, the Buckeyes had a walk-off win.

"Great to get the crowd on its feet," Ollervides said.
