Puente Blasts Bison, Armada Take Game 3, 7-6
Riding the 3-hit performance of shortstop Fernando Puente, the Quebec Armada got a road win against the Buffalo Bison, 7-6, in Game 3 of the Wild Card Round. Puente went 3 for 3 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once for the Armada, who now lead the best-of-7 series, 2 games to 1.

Puente had an important at-bat with the bases empty in the top of the seventh, when he hit a solo home run. The Armada went on to win.

"We were able to get some things going offensively," said Puente.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Thundering Grounds at Bison Stadium in Buffalo.
