Cucamonga Win Nail-Biter, 11-10
The Rancho Cucamonga defeated the Ft. Worth Werewolves, 11-10, at Werewolves Grounds. Rancho was led by 20-year old catcher Eduardo Espinosa, who was 2-4 with a home run and 2 walks, while scoring 3 runs. The win was credited to Willie Ochoa in relief. His record improves to 2-2. Jordan Lopez took the loss. Mario de la Cruz closed it out for his 5th save.

The game was all tied up in the top of the tenth, until Espinosa delivered big-time for Rancho, stroking a dramatic solo home run off Jordan Lopez. The game-changing hit put the Cucamonga on top, 11-10.

"We battled our tails off to get this win," said Rancho manager Tony Vargas.

The Cucamonga are now 11-28, while the Werewolves fall to 15-25.
