Baisden Hits 2 home runs in Bears Win
The Baylor Bears beat the Ole Miss Rebels, 12-4, at Wolverines Stadium. Baylor first baseman Pat Baisden led the way. He went 2-3 with 2 home runs and a walk. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice. Baylor's record now stands at 14-10, placing them 6th in the Cliff Gustafson.

The Rebels had been locked in a 4-4 tie with the Bears going into the bottom of the fifth inning. That changed quickly when the 18-year old second baseman Steve Barsi came to the plate. Barsi hit a 3-run home run on a 2-1 fastball from Ole Miss hurler J.D. Ash. It was Barsi's 12th home run of the year.

"We'll kick back tonight and enjoy this win," said Baisden.
