Hoosiers Beat Visiting Werewolves, 9-4
|
Tony Padilla had a hand in Bloomington defeating Ft. Worth by the score of 9-4. Padilla went 3 for 4 at the plate, scoring 1 times and driving in 2 runs. The winning pitcher was Omar Orozco. He tossed 117 pitches over 7 innings, allowing 4 runs on 5 hits. Omar Trujillo earned the save, his 7th, for the Hoosiers.
Bloomington third baseman Ieyoshi Tamaki helped the Hoosiers go up, 3-2, in the bottom of the seventh inning. With the game tied, Tamaki hit a run-scoring single off Ft. Worth pitcher Jordan Lopez.
"We did more than enough to get the win," said Padilla.
