The Mojave Rattlers downed the Toronto Blue Jays, 2-0, at Rattlers Field. Mojave pitcher Mike Vega had a scintillating performance. The loss makes Toronto 46-2.

Vega kept the Blue Jays under his thumb. He scattered 6 hits over 8 innings, while striking out 14. The left-hander upped his season record to 3-3.

"The only difference is executing pitches and not executing pitches," said Vega. "When you don't execute, you get beat. When you execute, you usually give your team a chance to win."
