Sentries Roll Past Cucamonga, 6-1

The Springfield Sentries beat the Rancho Cucamonga, 6-1. Springfield pitcher and Manzanillo, Cuba, native Leonel Macias led the way. Macias got the win, improving to 2-1. He gave up 2 hits and walked 3 over 7.1 innings. He allowed 1 run. With the win, the Sentries have a record of 18-29.
Marco Orduno had a big 2-run double for the Sentries in the bottom of the third inning. With Springfield leading 1-0 and the bases loaded, he got a cutter from Charlie Graef, who is tied for 7th in the TLA with a 12.1 K/9 rate, and swatted a double to right-center. It was his 1st double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Sentries ahead, 3-0.
"We'll enjoy this win for now, but it's just one," Orduno told local reporters. "We've got to keep it going."
